Girls in Action Motto: Go Forward!

Girls in Action (GA's) is a missions organization for girls in grades 1-6 that helps them develop a Biblical worldview with an emphasis on missions learning and missions doing. GA's utilizes activities that are designed to help girls learn about missions and get them personally involved in practical missions experiences while having fun.

THE PURPOSE OF GIRLS IN ACTION

The Purpose of Girls in Action is to involve girls in missions. Involvement in missions is living one's faith daily: personal experience in witness and ministry, and giving and praying to support persons involved in missions. The Girls in action program helps girls to become aware of the needs of people around the world and to respond to those needs. The organization seeks to lead girls to a personal commitment to Christ and assist them in their Christian growth experience. Through Girls in action, girls are led to an awareness of their responsibility to Christ and encouraged to become His Girls in Action. This purpose is outlined in the GA Pledge.

GA Pledge:

As a GA, I will do my best to live a missions lifestyle that honors God by:
Learning about missions:
Giving to missions:
And participating in the work of the church:

GA Scripture Verse:

"Give thanks to the Lord. Worship him. Tell the nations what He has done. Announce how honored he is."

-Isaiah 12:4

GA Lifestyle Verse:

"The Lord has shown you what is good. He has told you what he requires of you. You must treat others fairly. You must love others faithfully. And you must be very careful to live the way your God wants you to."

-Micah 6:8

At Pine Street, our Children’s Ministry is all about helping kids find the joy and love of learning. We provide various opportunities to help them do life effectively. We follow simple teaching: God made the world--What went wrong--God’s plan to fix it

Our Children's Ministry is led by a devoted community of teachers and helpers who intentionally focus on the personal growth of each child and their family.

Join us on Sunday mornings for Sunday school, children's music groups and other age-specific opportunities to help children connect to each other and God's Word.
